Member Fishing Tournament – May 24

New format!

1st round: Open Fish – Teams are free to fish one or more of the following ponds – Wood Duck, In Between, PK, New, Frog, Bass, and Bullhead Ponds. Each two-person team must fish the same pond at the same time – they can shore fish or use a boat.

Second Round: Teams will draw between Hill- N Dale Lake, Terrill Lake, (Moxley will be added if more than 6 teams)

Third Round: Teams will rotate between Hill- N Dale Lake Terrill Lake, and Moxley if needed.

*Each team will have 1 hour and 15 minutes to fish per round

*Trolling motors permitted but not provided.

*All Bass over 12″ count for Tourney, Team with most # of Bass over 12″ wins. Bragging Rights and names on plaque displayed at the club are the main prize.

*Prize for longest (biggest) fish too.

*Most fish caught by team

*Artifical lures only (no live bait)

All catch & release (record # and size of all species of fish caught in case of tie). Each team will need a tape measure to record length. Teams must provide proof of catch for any potential largest fish (snapshot with phone/camera preferred) and tag any fish that is caught before releasing.

7:00 am mandatory team orientation meeting at the lodge to draw for lake rotation, go over rules and safe handling, etc.

7:30 am- open fish on Frog/Bass/ Wood Duck/ In Between/ PK/ Bullhead/ New Pond (15 minute travel)

9:00 am – fish on Terrill or H ‘n D

10:30 am -fish on Terrill or H ‘n D

12:00 – All teams return to lodge for reporting of catch and crowning the new Club Bass Fishing Championship Team!
